In-demand, London-based composer and multi-instrumentalist, Thomas E. Brown offers a bespoke music service comprising original composition for film and individually licensed tracks. He also provides music consultancy services, working closely with other composers and arrangers.

Thomas is able to provide production and musical enginnering services for your project in his studio, 24:Hour Music. He can work with all modern DAWs, and can provide expertise on pre-existing projects.


As an active musician working in numerous projects, Thomas also offers session musician services. This includes studio work and live performance.

Hertfordshire-born Thomas E. Brown spent years devoting himself to the guitar from the moment he could pick one up. He never let this passion go, honing his craft and eventually graduating from the world-renowned Tech Music Schools [Now BIMM] in Popular Music Performance [Dip. & BMus.] He later achieved a Distinction Level [MMus] Masters degree in Composing For Film & TV.

Thomas worked for renowned composer Ross Power [Gas, No Offence], gaining further experience in composing to motion picture, and performing for film scores. He was also assistant to the musical director at AIR Studios, working on the recording session for the Grolsch Christmas Advert in 2011.

Major credits include composing the score for The Best Years starring Martin Kemp, and an epic ancient-worlds score for the St.George: Blood and Martyrs featurette. He wrote sombre music for the pensive Kick About, and a powerful, energetic piece for the official film trailer of BIFA Nominated Sleeping Dogs. He composed for an BBC animation series on the Norman Conquest, and also regularly contributes to music libraries, composing in a variety of styles.

Tom prides himself on versatility and relishes the learning process. He has performed on the banjo, lapsteel, pedalsteel, piano, Greek flute, harmonica, the violin, [and even the human body. He also programmammes and sequences full orchestral works. Tom performs and composes with British soul singer JoCee, including a weekly residency at the Blues Kitchen, Shoreditch. He lectures in music production at the Hertfordshire College of Music [HCM], is called upon as a session musician and has arranged music for sequence dancing under the name ‘Dance Club’ [Distributed by Maestro Records].

A conscientious and driven worker, Tom has a thirst for creativity paired with a scrupulous approach. He truly captures the emotional essence of a film scene and portrays it perfectly through music. Tom has all the qualities needed to help bring your visual media to life.
